We want to clear up some confusion about the recent fee increases from the Lake County Air Quality Management District.
The Fire Department is NOT involved in setting or approving these fees.
Fee decisions are made by the Air Quality District and their governing board, based on state law and regulatory requirements.
Our role is focused on public safety and emergency response — not air quality regulations or fee structures. We appreciate your understanding and support as we continue serving our community.
